About GLC
Georgetown Liquor Company is a 100% vegan bar and restaurant tucked away at the north end of the Airport Way strip in Seattle’s historic Georgetown neighborhood, right next to the train tracks and a little off the beaten path.
Originally opened in 2006, GLC closed in 2020 and came back later that year under new ownership by longtime regular and Georgetown local Alan Threewit (formerly of Highline Bar). Same roots, new chapter.
We’re a punk bar through and through. The menu is fully vegan, but not just for vegans. It’s food made from scratch in a small kitchen: house-made meats, cheeses, and sauces, all cooked to order. No shortcuts.
GLC is for anyone who wants to be here. We’re committed to creating a space that’s inclusive, respectful, and safe for marginalized communities. Zero tolerance for prejudice or harassment of any kind. We stand with LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities. Black Lives Matter.
